At the age of 12, I was on my own in the streets of New Orleans, looking for validation and love
wherever I could find it. Whether it was drugs or men, I bounced from home to home and got
pregnant at 17. I knew I wanted the best for my child. However, at 39, with 5 children and a new
view and focus on life, I now know Jesus Christ is my savior. I am creating new beginnings
at Lynhaven.
